If you rebook to an AIDA trip at a comparable or later date, you will receive an attractive on-board credit.
Option 2: Refund
If you do not wish to change your booking, AIDA will refund the travel price already paid.
Only 50 Euro deposit p. p. on the tour price. Final payment of the tour price only 30 days before departure. On request, the booked voyage can be rebooked once free of charge – for AIDA PREMIUM ALL INCLUSIVE and AIDA PREMIUM bookings up to 30 days, for AIDA PAUSCHAL ALL INCLUSIVE and AIDA VARIO bookings up to 60 days before departure (valid for bookings until 31.03.2021 for AIDA voyages with departure until 31.10.2021).
In addition to the General Terms and Conditions of Travel, the following applies: If a positive COVID 19 test is presented from 14 days before the start of the cruise until the day of departure, the cruise can be rebooked once free of charge.
A-ROSA cancels all trips with departures until 07.03.2021. Affected guests will be contacted by the A-ROSA Service Centre proactively and chronologically according to their booked departure date.
For guests who have booked the PREMIUM ALL INCLUSIVE fare, a one-off rebooking of the travel date or ship is possible free of charge up to 30 days before the start of the trip, while retaining the overall layout.

Carnival has canceled all cruises up to and including 30. April 2021 and subsequent departures:

Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Azamara
Royal Caribbean has cancelled all but a few voyages (see Quantum and Spectrum) until 30.04.2021. Celebrity Cruises has also cancelled all voyages until 30.04.2021.
In addition, Royal Caribbean has cancelled all voyages 9 days or longer departing from an American port until 01.11.2021.
Canceled Royal Caribbean trips:
- Quantum 25.04.2021 – 14.10.2021
- Spectrum only until 02.01.2021
- All departures of Majesty of the Seas and Empress of the Seas
Furthermore the departure of the Celebrity Eclipse will not take place until 06.06.2021 and Celebrity Solstice until 03.05.2021 and 14.05. and 21.05.2021. Celebrity Edge will sail until 29.10.2021, Constellation until 31.10.2021 and Millennium until 09.05.2021.
The Royal Caribbean Group offers a refund of 100% of the cruise fare less taxes and fees. The refund must be submitted by 31.12.2021. Flights and hotel booked through RCI/Celebrity/Azamara will be automatically refunded. Services provided by third party providers such as airfare, hotels etc. may be refunded after verification.
Existing and new bookings:
For new bookings and existing bookings made on or before 30.04.2021, the following policy applies:
- Guests may cancel up to 48 hours prior to departure and receive 100% Future Cruise Credits to use on all sailings through 30.09.2022, provided the booking is already paid in full.
- Best Offer Guarantee:
If the offer price has reduced or the offer package has improved: Call and we will consider the customer’s offer decision up to 48 hours before departure.
Costa has cancelled the following cruises:

Costa offers its clients two compensation options:
Option 1: The customers concerned will receive a voucher for the travel price paid to us and in addition an on-board credit of CHF 230 per cabin when rebooking a cruise with departure by 31.03.2021 (Easter and Christmas excluded). If you rebook for a cruise departure after 31.03.2021 (Easter and Christmas excluded), you will receive a credit balance of CHF 110 per cabin. This voucher can be redeemed for all cruises with departure up to and including November 2021. The vouchers can also be used for cruises already booked by customers with departures up to 30.11.2021.
Option 2: Guests who do not wish to use their travel voucher and on-board credit, we will refund the price of the cruise in the amount of the payment already made to us upon request.
Guests who make a single seat reservation (FIT) with departure between 25.03.2021 and 30.11.2021 may rebook their trip free of charge once up to 15 days before the start of the trip. The replacement trip must take place within 1 year of the original start of the trip. The price of the new cruise must be more expensive or equivalent.
Cunard interrupts the travel season: Queen Elizabeth until 04 June 2021, Queen Mary 2 until 28 May 2021 and Queen Victoria until 16 May 2021.
Unfortunately, the 73-night voyage on the Queen Mary 2 with embarkation between 3 January 2022 and 3 April 2022 has now also been cancelled.
Cunard is offering the affected guests the option of rebooking the trip or requesting a refund.

Flexible rebooking conditions
Guests who have booked or will book a cruise departing after the communicated cruise break at the Premium or Smart price can now rebook up to 50 days prior to embarkation date (before final payment is due):
- Rebook your voyage on any Cunard voyage that is currently bookable (and not just within the next 12 months).
- Rebook your voyage on another voyage of higher or lower value (and not just higher value as is normally the case).
- Rebook your trip several times (and not just once).
- Rebook your travel free of charge
Note: These relaxed rebooking policies currently apply until 31/08/2021 instead of the normal rebooking conditions listed in Cunard’s General Conditions of Travel. Cunard reserves the right to change or withdraw them at any time.
Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has cancelled all cruises as follows:

Affected customers will receive a personal travel credit balance which can be applied like a means of payment to their next booked cruise with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. The travel credit consists of the payment(s) already made to us for your cancelled voyage. It is automatically credited to your customer account so that you do not need to do anything else. Your personal travel credit will be available for bookings until 31st December 2021 for your next cruise(s) with Hapag-Lloyd Cruises and will be paid out after this date. Your cruise may start after this date.
As a thank you for your loyalty, you will receive the following discounts for your next booking:
- 25% discount on the sea route if you book with a cruise commencing before 30.04.2021
- 10% discount on the sea route for bookings with departure before 30.09.2021
- € 200 per person on-board credit for new bookings of a trip starting from 01.10.2021
- For customers who are affected by trip cancellations but have already booked one or more trips in the future, the following applies: Your payment(s) will be credited to this trip(s). In addition, they will receive an on-board credit of 3% of the sea voyage price per booking.
Until 28.02.2021 there are relaxed cancellation fees, these are 200€ per person until 90 days before the start of the cruise.
Holland America Line
Holland America Line has cancelled all cruise until 30.04.2021.

Selected longer voyages in Asia, Australia/New Zealand and South America by mid-April 2021. Some sailings will be rescheduled to comparable dates in 2022.
Longer voyages until April 2021 with departures in 2022.
Guests booked on several longer voyages to South America aboard Westerdam, to Asia aboard Noordam and to Australia/New Zealand aboard Oosterdam will be rebooked on similar dates and itineraries in 2022. Those booked on the Voyage of the Vikings cruise departing on 9 July 2021 aboard Zaandam will be rebooked on a similar date in 2022.
All guests rebooking to a new voyage in 2022 will receive an on-board credit of $150 per person, protected pricing and an equivalent cabin category.
Guests can rebook or receive a 100% refund.
Existing and new bookings:
New bookings made by March 31, 2021, and departing by Oct. 31, 2021, can be canceled up to 30 days prior to departure. Here, customers will receive a Future Cruise Credit to use toward their next cruise booking. The FCC must be redeemed within 12 months for a cruise departing by Dec. 31, 2022.

For the cruises that MSC has to cancel, they offer their guests a voucher equal to the cruise price, which can be used for all future departures until the end of 2021. In addition, passengers will receive an on-board credit of 100 euros per cabin for cancelled cruises of up to 6 nights and 200 euros for cruises of 7 or more nights. For the cancellation of the Grand Voyage of MSC Bellissima from Dubai to Yokohama and MSC Lirica from Dubai to Venice, passengers will receive a one-time on-board credit of 400 euros per cabin.
With MSC Cruises‘ Flexible Cruise Programme, guests can rebook their cruise to a departure date of their choice until 31 December 2021. Guests can transfer their bookings free of charge to any ship in the MSC fleet with any itinerary – up to 48 hours before the original departure date or, in the case of Fly & Cruise packages, up to 96 hours before departure (excluding any airline cancellation charges for the flight).
For all new bookings until 31.03.2021 MSC offers you the following simplified rebooking conditions. You can rebook free of charge up to 21 days before departure.
✓ Valid for all new bookings for winter 2020/21, summer 2021 and winter 2021/22 (departures until 30 April 2022)
✓ Up to 21 days before departure, the cruise can be rebooked free of charge without giving reasons.
✓ A rebooking is also possible in another travel area and on another ship.
✓ The new cruise should be of equal value. If the cruise is of higher value, the difference must be paid.
✓ The remaining payment is due 30 days before departure (for departures within the next 30 days the entire payment is due immediately).
✓ Cancellation conditions according to AGB continue to apply.
Norwegian Cruise Line had to cancel all cruises up to and including 31.05.2021.
The NCL Peace of Mind offer is valid for new and existing bookings.
- 2021 Cruises: Guests may cancel at any time up to 15 days prior to the date of embarkation (travel dates until 31 October 2021).
Furthermore, customers booking by 31.03.2021 only have to pay a 10% deposit (instead of 20%), the remaining amount will be paid with the final payment.
Oceania Cruises has cancelled all cruises until 31.05.2021.
Guests can rebook or will be refunded the full purchase price. The refund can take up to 90 days.
Existing and new bookings:
As of now, the following travel promise applies to Oceania Cruises cruises (departures up to and including 31.10.2021 see special regulation at the bottom of the page).
Up to 15 days or 48 hours before the start of the cruise, you can cancel it and receive a „Future Cruise Credit“ amounting to 100% of the cruise price paid in full.
Conditions and terms of free cancellation:
Provided you had booked by 31.07.2020: All cruises departure period until 31.12.2022. Cancellation possible up to 48 hours before departure.
If booked 01.08.2020 until 31.01.2021: All cruises departure period until 31.10.2021. Cancellation possible up to 15 days before departure.
Phoenix Reisen has cancelled all river cruises until 30.04.2021 due to official requirements.
Phoenix will contact customers immediately if there is a change to your holiday or if it has to be cancelled. As events are currently unfolding, the guests whose trip is about to start will be informed first. If Phoenix guests are not contacted either in writing or by telephone, your trip will take place as planned.
The following ocean cruises are also affected by the cancellations:

Relaxed cancellation policy applies for all new bookings between 24.11.2020 – 31.03.2021 departing by 30.04.2022:
Free cancellation up to 30 days before departure. Payments already made will be converted into a credit balance. The credit must be used for a new booking within 24 months of the originally booked departure date (excluding flight costs).
Princess Cruises has cancelled numerous cruises until 14.05.2021 and retoutings until autumn. Customers affected will be informed about alternatives as soon as possible.
Existing and new bookings:
For cruises as well as sea & land cruises by Princess Cruises booked until 02.03.2021 with departure until 31.10.2021 (excluded from this are any additional services such as flights, hotel accommodation etc. – here the regular conditions apply) new cancellation conditions apply with immediate effect:
Cancellation up to 61 days before departure: CHF 100 handling fee p.p. The handling fee will be suspended if, instead of a refund, customers wish to use their deposit paid as a voucher for a new cruise.
Important information about the voucher:
- The voucher is non-transferable.
- The voucher can be used on any Princess Cruises cruise, sea or land itinerary with a departure date within one year of the original travel date, or for a departure date up to 01.05.2022 (whichever date is longer for customers).
- If the voucher cannot be redeemed by the expiry date, a refund of the difference to the handling fee is available on request.
Cancellation from 60 days before departure: The normal cancellation conditions according to the GTCs apply.
Regent Seven Seas
Regent Seven Seas Cruises had to cancel all voyages until 31.05.2021.
Guests can rebook or receive a 100% refund.
Refunds will be made to the payment method used at the time of booking within 90 days of cancellation. This refund must be requested.
Existing and new bookings
When booking until 28.02.2021:
When booking until 28.02.2021 you benefit from the „Regent Reassurance“, which allows you to cancel free of charge at the following conditions:
Cruises departing before 31.10.2021:
Provided you have paid in full, you may cancel your cruise up to 15 days ** (if no air is booked through Regent Seven Seas Cruises) or up to 65 days (if air is booked through Regent Seven Seas Cruises) prior to departure and receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit for a future cruise (excluding cruises including air and Concierge Collection arrangements) . This Future Cruise Credit is valid for 1 year and can be redeemed on a Regent Seven Seas cruise until departure 31.10.2021. A payout of the Future Cruise Credit is not possible.
Guests who have already paid the full price may cancel up to 15 days prior to departure and will receive a 100% FCC.
This applies to all existing and new bookings until 31.12.2020 and departure until 31.12.2022. The FCC is valid for one year.
Seabourn had to cancel the following cruises:
|Odyssey||selected voyages from 16 January to 05 November 2021. The 7-Day Akaska/British Columbia voyage and the sailing trip along the Pacific coast are not cancelled.|
|Quest||until 10.05.2021; All voyages longer than 7 days and calling at a U.S. port cancelled from 22 July to 06 November|

„Book with Confidence“ – now extended
Customers can cancel up to 30 days before the cruise starts. Valid for existing bookings and new bookings (until 31.03.2021) for all cruises until 31.12.2021 inclusive. Not valid for world cruises (+partial routes) and the Seabourn Venture.
100% Future Cruise Credit in the amount of the deposit or instalment will be credited to the „Seabourn Club Member“ account. The Future Cruise Credit must be used for a new booking within 12 months of its creation (valid for cruises 20/21 with departure up to and including 31.12.2022).
Silversea had to cancel the following cruises:

All voyages departing by 31 December 2021 that you book by 28 February 2021 can now be cancelled up to 30 days prior to departure without giving a reason. Guests will receive a credit in the form of a voucher for the amount already paid, less any third-party cancellation fees charged to Silversea. Should guests opt for a cash refund instead, Silversea’s general cancellation policy will apply.
